I'm not only a game developer, i'm also a music producer. My music channel, with the name of N30-Arctrux, was started in 2024, with my first album, Hyperspace. Back on that time, i was making music on sites like beepbox, jummbox, etc. Those sites are popular and free options to game developers, as they are meant for chiptune, which is usually the same genre as video game soundtracks (mostly old ones though).
After some time, i switched those sites to a mobile app called BandLab, which is currently the app i use. I made this because beepbox like sites work terribly with mobile, even though i usually listened to songs and interacted with communities on mobile. By switching, i could just listen to songs, open an app to make my song ideas, and publish the song when it was ready, all that in a much faster way.
During the time i was making songs in my mobile, i published several tracks, starting with my album Failure, which used to have 9 songs, but most of them were deleted.
My albums Classical Period and Error, both released on itch.io, a platform for game developers, were meant to be used in games. Error was exclusively meant for games, while Classical Period was made for a music jam (a small challenge of who makes the best song with a certain theme in a certain period of time)
I already debuted songs in other small labels, with my first song in a music channel being Cryodesert.
In october 2025, i founded Eridanus Records, a small label for promote songs. Even though i don't have commercial plans to Eridanus, i believe that promoting songs, even if i also include my songs to the label, can also be usefull for small artists that deserve recognition.
